Hi Dr. Reznick,

I have a case, #30 and 29 are treatment planned for extraction and socket graft. However, on PA, mental foramen and periapical radiolucency ( PARL ) of #29 overlap. If I take a CBCT, unless PARL and mental foramen are unconnected, do I avoid doing curet and socket graft to avoid damaging the nerve?

What would you do for case like #29? do you ext and wait 3 months later for GBR?
